🦇👻Haunted House Halloween Candy Boxes👻🦇
Hi it's me Patti Campbell, this week's guest designer for the RubberMoon/ArtFoamies blog. Today I wanted to create a little Halloween magic.
For this project you will need:
- House Pencil Boxes created by Gypsy Soul Laser Craft
- PVA glue
- Moonlight Duo in Eclipse Back and Moonlight White
- Golden So Flat Matte Acrylic in Cadmium Primrose
- Arteza white gel pen
- Black Micron pen
- X-acto knife
- Scissors
- Black gesso
- 140 lb. watercolor paper in white and black
- Medium sized flat brush
- ArtFoamie Haunted Hangout by Kae Pea
- Candy
Step 1:
I put the boxes together and painted them with my black gesso.
Step 2:
I stamped the Haunted Hangout stamp on the black paper twice and once on the white paper so I would have 3 houses total.
Step 3:
I cut out the houses.
Step 4:
I cut some elements off two of the houses so they wouldn't all be the same.
Step 5:
With the X-acto knife I cut out some of the windows.
Step 6:
Using the white gel pen, on the black houses I added some details around the windows and doors. And on the white house I did the same with my black micron.
Step 7:
I glued the houses onto the boxes leaving part of the chip board house exposed to add depth.
Step 8:
With the white gel pen I added ghosts and spooky faces in the windows.
Step 9:
I filled the boxes with candy.
Hope you enjoyed my little haunted house project! I was thinking they would make super cute party favors.
👻Have a Happy Halloween!👻
Love and laughter,
Patti
