Envelope Pocket Book

💜Envelope Pocket Book💜

Hello beautiful humans, it's me Patti Campbell. I am here to share with you this cute envelope pocket book.

For this project I used:

Step 1:
I gessoed the front and back of the envelopes leaving the flaps plain, and allowed it to dry.

Step 2:
I painted the background on both envelopes and allowed it to dry.

Step 3:
I cut out Evangeline that I had stamped previously on a paper bag and glued it to the front of one envelope.

Step 4:
Using the Royalty stamp and white gesso, I stamped parts of the crown around Evangeline to give some background texture.

Step 5:
I stamped Maybe A Heart in the corner and glued on pieces of ephemera.

Step 6:
I stamped Intricate Butterfly on the inside of one envelope, and Woman Power and Whimsy Wings on the other. Then I stamped Maybe A Heart to decorate.

Step 7:
On a piece of scrap paper, I painted the background, and stamped Queen Bee to make the insert for my book.

Step 8:
After everything had dried, I cut the flap off the envelope I used for the front.

Step 9:
I slid the flap of the envelope I used for the back into the pocket of the front envelope.

Step 10:
I folded the 2 envelopes together to make a book, and used the double sided tape to stick the 2 envelopes together where they connect.

Step 11:
I placed the insert in the pocket.

Wouldn't this make a nice little surprise for a loved one who needs a pick-me-up, or an insert for a journal?

Thanks for reading!

Love and laughter,
💜Patti💜
